I think I remember him somewhat. If I am correct, he was an 'A' school instructor while Frank, Mike, (many others,) and I were at MI in the '70's.

RIP, Jim.

This was posted on Facebook in the CSTSC section by a former CMC. Jim, Tom Bourne and I were plankowners on the USS Kinkaid (DD-965). Jim was one of our Computer/Perif techs. He made Chief a few months before leaving the Kinkaid. He was a quite kind of guy with a dry sense of humor. I believe he went on to the Norton Sound from the Kinkaid. I'm assuming he must have spent the end of his career at Mare Island and according to his obit became a fixture a Solano Community College. Fair Winds and Following Seas shipmate.
