Rusty has been promoted to Admin Status for our website.

Post by penrod » Tue Sep 29, 2009 3:25 pm

Hello All,

As I am sure many of you have noticed, Perry and I have not been able to really give the site the time it deserves. Lots of issues that need attention and we have been too busy lately.

Rusty has agreed to help us and we've decided to promote her to admin status.

Please take a moment and congratulate Rusty. Thanks Rusty for volunteering to help!

Jim is seeing the cardiologist tomorrow..... once a week for 2 months then 2x month for 2 months, etc. Since this is an experimental heart pump, they want to see him more often. His is the 8th at this hospital and only 25 in the nation at the time of his installation. That sounds weird to me.....makes me want to giggle and I'm not a giggler (not even drunk).

I don't know if he is being a wuss or if something is wrong.......but he gets dramatically out of breath with the least bit of walking but can lift 5 lb weights with legs or arms for a couple of hours and not breathe hard. He walked for 7 mins straight for the nurses last week but can't do that here at home. Things that make you go "HMMMM".... We are asking the DR tomorrow about a home rehab therapist or have Jim go to rehab locally or be admitted to a rehab center. Obviously, we prefer someone come to the house, but only if they have heart and oxygen monitors to be able to tell us why walking is causing him such distress.

Paul - Buford Pusser was the sherrif in "Walking Tall". Buford T. Justice was Jackie Gleason's character in "Smoky and the Bandit".

I don't remember who the sheriff was that first said those memorable words, "Yore in a heap o' trouble, Bo-ah," or read them from a script. Might not have been either of those two.
